Learning Support Assistant - SEN Opportunity

We are currently working with a specialist school near Thames Ditton who are looking for a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to help students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN in classroom settings
  • Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) to ensure students receive tailored support
  • Support students with learning difficulties or disabilities in accessing the curriculum, promoting inclusivity and equality
  • Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment that fosters academic and personal growth
Requirements:
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Prior experience working with children or individuals with special educational needs
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Patience, empathy, and flexibility to adapt to the needs of students and staff
Working Conditions:
  • Work primarily in a school setting, with full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with the option to make it permanent at a later date.
