Learning Support Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a Learning Support Assistant to support our Primary and Secondary Special Educational Needs Schools in Walton-on-Thames. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, good work ethic, and a calm nature. They will be happy to use their own initiative and get involved, and be able to be flexible. The candidate will also need to be kind and caring towards children of all needs and abilities, and happy to take on coaching and training. Previous experience working with SEN children is preferred, and a valid DBS on the update service is required. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a Primary and Secondary school setting
  • Assisting with coaching and training
  • Working with a team to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicating effectively with children, parents, and colleagues

Requirements:

  • Positive attitude and good work ethic
  • Calm nature and ability to be flexible
  • Kind and caring towards children of all needs and abilities
  • Happy to take on coaching and training
