Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Job Description:

This SEN Teaching Support Professional role involves working with pupils who require additional support due to special educational needs.

  • Provide support to pupils within the classroom, small groups, and one-on-one settings.
  • Implement positive reinforcement techniques and behaviour-based instruction confidently.
  • Follow individualized support plans to help students reach their full potential.
  • Assist teachers with tasks such as marking and lesson delivery.

The ideal candidate should possess relevant qualifications (Level 2 or 3 in Childhood Studies or a Teaching Assistant course) and experience working in a Special Educational Needs setting.

Additiona SEN Training certificates (such as MAPA, Makaton, Team Teach) are also desirable.

A genuine passion for supporting children with special needs is essential.
