Technical Drafter - Civil Engineering Position

We are looking for an experienced Technical Drafter to join our team, working on a wide variety of civil engineering projects. As part of a close-knit team, you will take concept designs through to detailed manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD Software and other software platforms.

Main Duties:
  1. Produce high-quality technical drawings and documents in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
  2. Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation, including drawing packages and specifications.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  4. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and engineers.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying new skills and knowledge to improve efficiency and quality.
Essential Skills:
  • HNC/HND/BTec in Engineering (Civils) or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 5 years' experience in AutoCAD / AutoCAD Civil 3D/ MicroStation.
  • Proficiency in 3D modelling software (Autodesk Revit preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of civil engineering design principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full Driving License.
Estimated Salary:

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000-£65,000 per annum, based on the UK national average salary range for this position.
