About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Assistant Designer to join our team at ASOS. The successful candidate will have a strong background in designing for an Aspirational Brand or for a High Street Retailer, with 2-3 years' experience in developing and designing fashion-forward ranges.

Main Responsibilities:
• Research and develop the womenswear Denim range, including key shapes, key washes, new fabric, and building a range that offers choice for our global customer base.
• Work closely with the Womenswear Senior Denim Designer to react to sales information and design commercially relevant fashion-forward ranges.
• Build relations with suppliers and advise factories on direction, construction, key details, materials, and trims.
• Communicate effectively to the team & senior management on the performance and strategy of the department.

Key Requirements:
• Strong commercial handwriting and understanding of the ASOS Brand and Customer.
• Excellent computer skills, including Photoshop, Adobe, and CAD.
• Ability to travel in the UK for supplier meetings and inspirational purposes.
