About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at Liberty Global. As a key member of our internal audit function, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness of our control environment and operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, Coordinate, and Execute Internal Audits: Develop and implement audit plans, conduct risk assessments, and execute audits in accordance with our internal audit methodology.
  • Provide Independent Assurance and Advice: Offer objective and unbiased advice to management to improve our control environment and operations.
  • Lead Audit Teams and Coordinate Resources: Manage teams of auditors and coordinate resources to complete audits efficiently and effectively.
  • Communicate with Auditee Management: Engage with management to keep them informed of audit progress, agree on findings, and develop management action plans.
  • Assist in Drafting Audit Reports: Collaborate with the Audit Manager to draft comprehensive audit reports.
  • Participate in Update and Closing Meetings: Attend meetings with management to discuss audit findings and progress.
  • Carry Out Quarterly Follow-up: Conduct quarterly follow-up on previous recommendations and prepare summary progress updates.
Requirements
  • Professional Qualifications: Professionally-qualified accountant or auditor from a top 10 firm or with relevant industry experience.
  • Risk-Based Auditing Experience: Proven experience in risk-based auditing and risk management.
  • Industry Experience: Experience auditing in the technology, media, or telecoms sectors is highly desirable.
