The 306 North London NHS Foundation Trust is currently seeking an experienced Adult Mental Health Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising trainee doctors in a busy psychiatric department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

This role offers a competitive salary of £**100,000 - £120,000 per annum**, depending on experience. As a key member of the team, you will be expected to provide high-quality clinical care to patients, as well as contribute to the development of the department's strategies and policies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients, including those with complex mental health needs. You will also have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities, ensuring that your skills and knowledge remain up-to-date.

About the Role:

  • Supervise two psychiatry trainees ST4-6 and CT1-3 trainees once they have taken up the substantive role from the next trainee rotation
  • Work alongside another full-time consultant psychiatrist in the team
  • Provide clinical input to the Enfield Wellbeing Clinic, whose caseload for the south of the Borough is around 300 patients
