We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to educate pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
This is a long-term, part-time role covering for maternity throughout the academic year. The daily pay ranges from £162.71 (M1 - M2 MPS), administered via PAYE by our onsite payroll team.
The ideal candidate will teach a range of classes across the primary age range, covering for teacher PPA time, and will be supported by experienced support staff on a 1:2 ratio.
Key responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating excellent classroom practice and teaching skills
- Teaching children with generic learning difficulties and autism
- Developing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Key Stage 1 curriculum
- Leading a small classroom team
To succeed in this SEN Teacher role, you must hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification, have knowledge and understanding of working with SEN and challenging behaviour, and be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
