Job Title: Special Needs Educator Position

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher to educate pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities in a part-time capacity. The successful candidate will teach across the primary age range, covering for teacher PPA time, and be supported by experienced support staff on a 1:2 ratio.

This is a long-term role covering for maternity throughout the academic year, offering a supportive and committed learning environment where the successful applicant will develop their career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching a range of classes across the primary age range
  • Covering for teacher PPA time
  • Working with experienced support staff on a 1:2 ratio

Requirements:

  • Hold QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have knowledge and understanding of working with SEN and challenging behaviour
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
  • Ensure your CV covers all employment and education since leaving secondary school
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK

Salary: £162.71 (M1 - M2 MPS) administered via PAYE by our onsite payroll team.
