Job Description

  • Assist the sales team with internal and external inquiries, providing accurate and timely information.
  • Manage office administration tasks, including record-keeping for customers, suppliers, staff, and other relevant data.
  • Support the processing of customer orders and handover to the delivery team, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Maintain company information systems with personnel, financial, and other data, ensuring accuracy and up-to-date information.
  • Handle general housekeeping responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of the office, including scheduling meetings and events, taking minutes, and making travel bookings.
  • Manage visitors to the UK office and coordinate business events, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Propose and implement office and business improvement ideas, contributing to the company's growth and success.
  • Support the Business Unit Manager with ad-hoc tasks, providing administrative support as needed.

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in business support, administrative support, or a similar role in an office environment.
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative to solve problems, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Organised, punctual, and reliable administration support, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Competent in filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent planning skills and ability to multitask, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Proficient in typical office software, including Microsoft Office, and familiar with the IT sector.
  • Must be currently eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
