We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our team in Oxford/Birmingham area.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for the service and repair of construction equipment, working closely with customers to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the service and repair of construction equipment, identifying mechanical problems and providing effective solutions.
  • Be the main point of contact for customers, communicating regularly on planned site visits and machine repair progress.
  • Order parts as necessary, returning them in clean condition at the time of job completion to aid efficient invoicing.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A formal engineering qualification in Plant Maintenance or related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy construction plant, including diesel engines, transmissions, drive lines, hydraulics, and electrics.
Salary and Benefits
  • Competitive salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Overtime paid after 38.5 hours at time and a half until 12pm Saturdays.
  • Overtime paid at double time after 12pm Saturdays.
  • 25 days annual leave + 8 days bank holiday.
  • Pension contributions matched by the company up to 5%.
