Job Description

Rock Careers is hiring an experienced Industrial Appliance Technician to maintain and repair gas systems and appliances in the Oxford area. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of these systems.

The successful candidate will possess a strong background in gas engineering, with a focus on servicing and repairing complex gas systems and appliances. A solid understanding of health and safety protocols is essential, as well as excellent communication skills for interacting with clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze and diagnose issues with gas systems and appliances, applying expertise to resolve problems efficiently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop strategies for improving service quality and reducing costs.

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent in a relevant field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering).
  • At least 2 years of experience working with industrial gas systems and appliances.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including Gas Safe registration and HTR1 & CKR1 certifications.

Salary Information: The estimated annual salary range for this position is £45,000 - £65,000, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.
