Health Care Support Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Health Care Support Worker to join our team at Nevill Hall Day Surgery Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting staff in the surgical setting, working closely with registered nurses to undertake defined responsibilities.
About the Role- Maintain patient confidentiality and behave in a professional manner.
- Work with Trust policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Support patients during their stay in the Day Surgery Unit.
- Assist healthcare professionals with various tasks and duties.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
- NVQ LEVEL 2 in Health and Social Care in a healthcare setting.
- Basic IT skills.
- Knowledge of the role in theatres.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and take constructive criticism.
- Flexible approach and hardworking and adaptable attitude.
