About Our Maternity Unit

Our maternity unit provides antenatal and postnatal care for 11,500 women each year, with an alongside birth centre at Royal Derby Hospital. We support women through low and high-risk care pathways, including specialty pathways like diabetes and cardiology.

We have a talented team of midwives who are passionate about delivering exceptional care, and we are committed to supporting their growth and development through extensive induction packages and training opportunities.

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate midwife who can lead by example, develop others, and provide midwifery leadership and management skills.

This role offers a competitive salary of approximately £43,041 per annum, plus benefits such as employee support and wellbeing programs, staff benefits, and a comprehensive Employee Health & Wellbeing Programme.
