About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Child Care Services Manager to lead our 4-bed children's home in Doncaster. As a Registered Homes Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters emotional, social, and psychological growth for vulnerable children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a 4-bed children's home, ensuring high-quality care standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement relationship-based and trauma-informed therapeutic practices to support children's well-being.
  • Drive continuous improvement within the home through quality assurance processes and team development.
  • Champion equality, diversity, and a child-centered approach in all practices.
  • Mentor and support staff, fostering professional development and a culture of continuous learning.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in residential child care, preferably in complex disabilities or health care settings, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Child Care (or willingness to achieve within 3 years).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth understanding of Children's Homes Regulations 2015, the Children Act 2004, and Ofsted standards.
