As a Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our transport team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with our drivers and transport team to guarantee punctual delivery of our products, while also adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and motivate a team of drivers and transport staff to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with all relevant transport legislation and regulations.
  • Oversee the loading and unloading of vehicles to ensure that all products are delivered safely and securely.
  • Update and manage daily and weekly reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist with the investigation and resolution of any transport-related issues or incidents.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a transport or logistics role, with a strong understanding of transport legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make key decisions and take ownership of transport-related issues.
