Mental Health Support Specialist

RIBBONS AND REEVES seeks a dedicated Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team in Coulsdon. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring Teacher, Psychologist, Counsellor, or Wellbeing Practitioner to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Primary School children with SEND and SEMH needs.
The successful candidate will work in-class and provide small group support in a learning space, improving academic, social, and emotional development of students. With a strong focus on building self-esteem, self-worth, independence, and confidence, our ideal candidate will provide classroom support to 4-11 year olds with Autism Spectrum Condition, Speech and Communication Difficulties, ADHD, and Severe Social Anxieties.
Job Summary- Provide tailored learning activities for individuals and groups of students.
- Monitor pupils and assess, record, and report on pupil achievement, progress, and development.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with parents, carers, and family.
- A motivated, determined, resilient, and dedicated individual with a positive can-do attitude.
- Previous experience in Mental Health is advantageous.
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum (FTE) or £18,500 term-time only, plus benefits. Contract extensions are available. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people, please apply.
