Experienced SEN Support Teacher for KS2

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team and support children with special educational needs in a year 3/4 classroom. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored support and guidance to students, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to children with SEN, using strategies tailored to their individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher to develop and implement learning plans that cater to diverse abilities.
- Use your knowledge of the KS2 curriculum to support students who require extra assistance, helping them achieve age-related expectations.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
- Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a KS2 setting.
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and tailor support to meet individual needs.
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and ability to use this knowledge to inform teaching practice.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
Salary and Benefits
