SEN Teaching Assistant

At WMJobs, we recognize the value of experienced Teaching Assistants in supporting students with SEN. As a level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing targeted interventions and individualized support to pupils.
Your primary responsibilities will include undertaking work/care/support programmes, assisting teachers in managing classroom behavior, and developing and implementing educational plans tailored to each pupil's needs. In return, you can expect a competitive salary of £25,500 - £27,500 per annum.
A key feature of this role is the opportunity to work closely with individuals and small groups of children, fostering a nurturing environment that promotes social and emotional growth. If you possess excellent communication skills, a level 2 qualification in teaching assistance, and a passion for education, we encourage you to apply.
Please note that this is a temporary position, and the contract may be terminated if the child leaves the school or funding is withdrawn. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our students, requiring all applicants to undergo medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check.
