About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in the South West region. As a key member of our Environment Business, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of mechanical systems at water treatment plants, wastewater treatment facilities, and other industrial sites.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Performing routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment
  • Installing new mechanical systems and components
  • Conducting safety inspections and reporting any hazards or defects
  • Collaborating with project engineers and site supervisors to ensure successful project delivery

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A strong background in mechanical engineering and installation/maintenance
  • Industry-recognized certifications such as ONC/NVQ/City & Guilds
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions
