We are looking for skilled and dedicated nurses to join our multidisciplinary team at Kings College Hospital. As a Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work with our highly reputable team, providing exceptional care to critically ill newborns.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients and their families, working independently and autonomously as part of a multi-disciplinary team. A key member of the team, you will contribute to the development of practice within the Neonatal Unit, promoting dignity and human rights through family-centred care principles.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To provide continuing care to a specified group of patients from admission to discharge.
  • To be a safe and effective practitioner, able to provide high-quality nursing care to patients and support to relatives.

Requirements:

  • A Registered Nurse (RGN) or RN Child/Adult Registered Nurse with active NMC registration.
  • Good understanding of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
  • Able to solve and escalate problems and issues.
  • Experience of working in Adult critical care; Emergency department; cardiac intensive care.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations.
  • Interest to develop knowledge of the clinical specialty and own practice.
  • Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal).
