About the JobThis is a dynamic role that requires strong communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will work under RN supervision to assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions, implement treatment programs, and respond to codes or health emergencies.
Responsibilities:- Under RN supervision, assess patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions, contributing to individualized treatment planning and consulting with RNs and staff as needed.
- Implement treatment programs directed by Health Care Practitioners, administering medications, including IV therapy (if certified), and performing diagnostic tests according to established protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate in controlled substance counts at the beginning of each shift, adhering to safety techniques, procedures, and standard precautions while responding to codes or health emergencies within standard guidelines.
- Assist in medical or minor surgical procedures, implement nutrition and therapeutic diet plans, and document nursing encounters using SOAP charting, ensuring effective communication with nursing staff, physicians, and other relevant personnel.
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and training sessions, demonstrating a commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to policies and procedures in providing high-quality patient care.
The estimated salary for this role is $42-$52 per hour, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 401k. RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- A minimum of one year clinic experience preferred.
