Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Healthcare Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Synensys, LLC. As a Patient Safety Assistant Coordinator, you will be responsible for assisting with the establishment and operation of the Navy Medicine Patient Safety Program at the MTF level.

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with Patient Safety Manager, Quality Manager, and Risk Manager to ensure high-quality patient care
* Assist with policy/practice implementation, including National Patient Safety Goals
* Conduct regular evaluations of facility-wide activities, policies, and procedures related to patient safety
* Develop and implement strategies to improve patient safety outcomes
* Coordinate activities for National Patient Safety Week
* Ensure patient safety event reports are entered in the DoD PSR tool
* Provide education and training on patient safety topics
* Prepare monthly reports summarizing patient safety program activities

Requirements:

* Baccalaureate degree in Nursing or healthcare-related field
* 3+ years of experience in risk management, patient safety, or quality improvement
* Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Experience with patient safety aspects of healthcare accreditation (TJC or AAAHC) is preferable

Estimated Salary: $95,000 - $120,000 per year.
