Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £33,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Operative to join our team at MCR Property Group. In this key role, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair tasks at our residential and student accommodation portfolio in High Wycombe.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks and repairs as required.
  • Undertake minor plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC repairs.
  • Inspect and maintain building systems and equipment.
  • Install, repair, and replace fixtures and appliances.
  • Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve smooth workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with property managers and tenants when necessary.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, such as a handyman.
  • Sound knowledge of general maintenance and repair techniques.
  • Fundamental understanding of plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
  • Able to operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (preferably).
  • Willingness to travel to various job sites in and around Manchester.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evening or weekend shifts (remunerated).
  • Current or willing-to-procure clean DBS check.
