About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Active Care Group. As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, intervention, and support to our residents with complex communication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' communication and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement evidence-led therapy programmes to achieve optimal outcomes
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Named Therapist duties to ensure cohesive goal-setting and therapy coordination
  • Participate in internal training and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • HCPC registration
  • Previous experience in neurorehabilitation settings
  • Expertise in working with aphasia, cognitive communication disorder, dysarthria, apraxia, and dysphagia
  • Specialist level dysphagia competency on RCSLT framework
