About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Transport Assistant to join our team at Secure Care UK - Bases. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing safe and respectful transportation services to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from various locations, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge in patient care and transport.
  • Contribute to a culture of inclusivity, respect, and empathy within our team and with patients.
Requirements
  • Valid Full UK Manual Driving License with a minimum of 12 months driving experience.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate resilience and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Working Arrangements

We offer a range of shift patterns, including 12-hour shifts, day shifts, and night shifts. Our full-time contracts include 46.25 hours per week, with shifts worked between 6:30am-7:30pm, 10am-10pm, and 7pm-7am. We also offer a 4-on-4-off shift pattern for 40.3 hours per week, worked 12-12.
