SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEND Specialist to join our team as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with students who have complex, moderate, and severe learning disabilities, providing individualized support to help them achieve their academic goals.
Key Duties:
- Supporting students in a variety of settings, including classrooms and one-to-one sessions
- Assisting in the implementation of IEPs and monitoring student progress
- Communicating effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals
- Participating in staff meetings and contributing to the development of school policies
Essential Requirements:
- GCSE or equivalent qualification in English and Mathematics
- Experience working with children with social, emotional, and mental health needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to supporting young people with special educational needs
Estimated Salary: £28,000 per annum
