Senior Quality Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our esteemed client in Basingstoke. As a key member of the quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in the production of engine components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct precision inspections using measurement equipment and CMMs to guarantee accuracy
  • Perform routine visual and dimensional inspections to maintain quality standards
  • Participate in regular audits to preserve AS9100 certification and maintain quality standards
  • Lead the inspection team and ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and stored appropriately
  • Investigate quality issues, implement changes to promote continuous improvement, and support the wider management team and production staff
Requirements:
  • Advanced Apprenticeship or Higher Education Qualification in Engineering
  • Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a CNC machining environment
  • Experience leading a team and proficiency in CMM programming
  • Quality control experience, preferably AS9100
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
What We Offer:
  • Permanent Full Time position with 40 hours per week
  • Salary up to £38,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 16:30, Friday: 07:30 - 14:00
  • Additional hours outside of the shifts may be required
  • 23 days holiday plus bank holidays
