Bruin is a global leader in infrastructure investment management, seeking an experienced Insurance Manager to spearhead their London Office, liaising with their US Office and other locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage insurance programs for portfolio companies, ensuring effective and cost-efficient coverage.
  • Oversee the renewal of insurance programs, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in a database.
  • Lead the negotiation and settlement of disputed claims, ensuring fair and efficient resolution.
  • Prepare regular reports on premiums, claims, loss ratios, and savings to support risk management strategies.
  • Conduct thorough insurance due diligence for new investments, analyzing existing policies and providing cost projections for future coverage.
  • Verify accuracy and adequacy of insurance policies across different regions and types of coverage.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in managing corporate insurance programs and handling complex claims.
  • Strong experience in negotiating with brokers, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of various insurance markets and types of coverage worldwide.
  • Ability to manage and consult on insurable risks of companies and assets, including Oil & Gas, D&O, Property & Casualty.
