Area Manager Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Area Manager to join our team at Vetro Recruitment. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality support services within a designated area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that support services are delivered to the highest standards, meeting or exceeding regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of support services to identify areas for improvement.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Foster a culture of engagement and participation, empowering individuals to have a strong voice and control over their care.
  • Support individuals in achieving their personal goals and aspirations.
  • Promote self-determination and independence.
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of support staff.
  • Provide regular supervision and support to staff members.
  • Ensure that staff are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver effective support.
  • Promote a culture of safeguarding and positive risk-taking.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders, including social services, inspectors, health professionals, landlords, and families.
  • Represent the organization effectively in external meetings and forums.
  • Collaborate with other agencies and organizations to improve outcomes for individuals.
  • Develop and manage budgets for the area, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.
  • Monitor financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience of working with people with learning disabilities or with people with other support needs.
  • The ability to achieve results through managing colleagues' performance and monitoring and evaluating service provision.
  • NVQ or QCF Level 5 in Health and Social Care.
  • Full UK Driver's Licence.
  • The ability to provide direction for colleagues and managers through supervision and team meetings and delegation of work.
