English Language Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Registered Band 6 Practitioner to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team, providing Community Rehabilitation Services to the Mental Health and Learning Disability Division for the areas of North Wales.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a focus on the repatriation of services users back to their home area, and also providing intensive community rehabilitation to enable Service Users with Complex Emotional Needs and or Complex Rehabilitation needs to remain within their local area.

Key Responsibilities- Provide community rehabilitation services to service users with complex emotional needs and or complex rehabilitation needs
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide a focus on the repatriation of services users back to their home area
- Develop and implement individualised rehabilitation plans to enable service users to remain within their local area
- Contribute to the development and implementation of community rehabilitation services
- Work closely with service users, carers and other stakeholders to ensure that rehabilitation plans are tailored to meet individual needs
- Professional Qualification in relation to Adult Mental Health/Educated to degree level
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Demonstrate competency of post qualifying experience in mental health and/or able to demonstrate substantial experience in the assessment rehabilitation and management of service users requiring long term management within the community
- Team working skills, good knowledge of mental health assessment and assessment tools, evidence of ability to work within identified risk areas in a positive manner utilising team support, committed to raising standards in mental health services, ability to prioritise and work proactively, effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills, ability to work in a pressurised environment, ability to work with service users/carers as equal contributors to service planning and delivery, ability to see service users and carers as equal partners in the management of their own care and support, ability to supervise and manage junior members of staff
- Awareness of current developments within MH & LD programme and also within BCULHB, understanding of Clinical Governance, knowledge of and commitment to the recovery and social inclusion of clients, knowledge of Child Protection and SOVA issues, knowledge and awareness of all Wales Mental Health Measures
- Management qualification and/or management experience
- Teaching and assessing experience
- Broad range of experience in Private health care settings, experience of CMHT work, experience of rehabilitation work
