Year 4 Learning Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Tradewind Recruitment. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child with special educational needs. As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide one-to-one support to a Year 4 pupil with behavioural challenges.
About the Role:
• Provide tailored support to a Year 4 pupil with behavioural challenges.
• Implement strategies to manage behavioural challenges in a positive and constructive manner.
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and other staff to support the child's academic and social progress.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment to promote learning and well-being.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working with children with behavioural challenges, ideally in a one-to-one capacity.
• Knowledge or experience with autism spectrum disorders is highly desirable.
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and families.
• A proactive and adaptable mindset.
Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
