Key Responsibilities:

  • Incident Management: Manage and lead major system outage situations on customer sites, including temporary management of other staff to resolve incidents.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to other Managed services functions, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Hardware Maintenance: Repair and maintain hardware, including servers, PCs, laptops, printers, and associated peripherals.
  • Software Support: Complete software incidents to customer/manufacturer procedures and specifications.
  • Installation and Configuration: Install hardware to manufacturers/customers specifications and complete MACs to manufacturers/customers specifications.
  • Call Management: Utilize a PDA to check and update allocated calls in a timely manner to achieve required SLA and reflect actual work done in real time.
  • Communication: Communicate with Call Administration and the Branch throughout the day.
  • Inventory Management: Complete part movements (RMA generation & physical movement) in a timely manner, returning items as directed by the Branch.

Requirements:

  • Technical Knowledge: Good overall IT knowledge, including software and hardware background/knowledge.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
