Youth Behavioural Support Worker

Are you passionate about helping children with special educational needs? Do you want to gain experience in SEN or progress your career in fields like psychology, sociology, teaching, or criminology?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Behavioural Support Worker to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Behaviour Buddy, you will work closely with teachers and the SEN team to provide individualised support to children with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children during social activities and outings
- Assist in implementing individual learning plans
- Provide 1:1 support to a child with complex needs
Requirements:
- Be patient and understanding
- Have an understanding of challenging behaviour
- Be able to develop strong relationships with children
This is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children. The salary for this position is approximately £22,000-£26,000 per annum, depending on experience.
