We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lecturer in Health and Wellbeing to join our team at Wigan & Leigh College. As a key member of our HSC department, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our students.

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the innovation, development, implementation, and organisation of designated courses and programmes within the HSC department. This will involve teaching across a range of programs, including BTEC Nationals, CACHE, and T Levels in Health, and contributing to marketing and admissions events to attract top talent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for students
  • Leading the innovation and development of designated courses and programmes
  • Contributing to the management of resources and ensuring compliance with quality assurance procedures
  • Creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students
  • Experience in delivering education to learners from various levels, including 16-18 and adult learners
  • Innovative and creative teaching approaches that cater to diverse learning styles
