About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Turning Point. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to adults with learning disabilities, enabling them to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Promote the independence of individuals we support
  • Support a full range of daily activities, including cleaning, cooking, and personal care
  • Arrange activities in the home and in the local community
  • Develop residents' life skills and personal interests
  • Help individuals stay safe and healthy
  • Assist with personal care needs
  • Manual handling
  • Support individuals with medication
  • Ensure record keeping is maintained to the required standard at all times
Requirements
  • Passionate, caring, and enthusiastic
  • Flexible, patient, and non-judgmental
  • A great team player with lots of energy
  • Able to demonstrate good communication skills
  • Able to complete the physical aspects of the role, such as manual handling
