Healthcare Information Analyst

The NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for an Accredited Clinical Coder to work on a permanent basis. The estimated annual salary for this role is £29,970 - £36,483, with an additional 11.25% Recruitment & Retention Premium paid monthly.
About the Position- This is a flexible full-time job, offering the possibility of home or remote working and compressed hours.
You will be responsible for extracting and coding clinical information, ensuring high-quality data and adhering to National Clinical Coding Standards. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology and medical terminology is required.
- Extract and code clinical information using ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to National Clinical Coding Standards.
- Collaborate with Health Intelligence colleagues to achieve high data quality standards.
- Support the Clinical Coding Team Leader in planning, organisation and delivery of clinical coding projects.
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths at least Grade C/Grade 4 or equivalent qualification.
- National Clinical Coding Qualification and holds Accredited Clinical Coder status.
- Successful completion of a Clinical Coding Standards Refresher Course within the last 3 years.
