We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our dynamic team at Carrington West. As a key member of our HSQE department, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the well-being of our employees, customers, and contractors across various utility and electrical construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct risk assessments, audits, and maintain audit schedules to confirm compliance with legislation, internal processes, and industry standards.
  • Work on high-voltage switchgear maintenance, installation, and refurbishment projects (60% maintenance, 40% refurb).
  • Ensure Compliance, Disability, and Management (CDM) regulations are upheld on construction and utility projects.
About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned Health and Safety Advisor to take on new challenges and grow professionally within a trusted company. Reporting directly to the Head of HSQE, you will be part of a close-knit team of 7 experts dedicated to delivering exceptional results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, a NEBOSH General Certificate, and experience working with ISO 9001/45001. Proficiency in Office 365 and SharePoint is also essential. A clean driving license is required for occasional site visits. The successful applicant can expect a competitive salary of £50,000 per annum, including a £5,000 vehicle allowance. Benefits include 25 days annual leave, a private pension scheme, and opportunities for development and training.
