We are seeking an experienced insurance professional to join our team as a Senior Account Handler. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take their career to the next level and work with a well-respected independent broker.
About the Company
Our client is a market leading, independent Insurance Broker with over 50 years of experience working with a diverse client base. They are looking for a Senior Account Handler to join their team and handle a book of business that includes premiums up to £150,000 across general commercial lines.
The Role
- Handling own renewal book of business and managing the renewal process from start to finish, identifying new opportunities for growth and cross-selling.
- Effective handling of commercial clients on a daily basis, ensuring excellent customer service and relationship development.
- Assisting Account Executives in administrative tasks for larger accounts, including the writing of client reports and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Technical expertise in commercial insurance, including commercial combined insurance, fleet, marine, professional indemnity, and Directors & Officers.
- Strong knowledge of claims handling and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with Acturis system is desired but not essential.
The Ideal Candidate
- Minimum of 3 years experience in general commercial insurance within a commercial broking environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a personable approach to working with clients and colleagues.
- Motivation to deliver high-quality results and continuously improve business processes.
- Innovation and forward-thinking ideas to drive business growth and improvement.
