Job Summary

We are seeking a Support Worker to join our team at Real Life Options, a registered charity providing support services to individuals with complex needs. The successful candidate will work on a 1-1 basis with three gentlemen in a supported living service, providing support with daily living tasks, personal care, and assisting with behaviors of concern.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including finances, shopping, cleaning, and cooking
  • Provide personal care and support with medical appointments
  • Work with individuals with behaviors of concern and epilepsy
  • Work on a 1-1 basis, requiring the ability to work independently

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a support worker role is desirable, but full training will be provided
  • An enhanced DBS is required for this role
  • Ability to work 24 hour shifts, including overnight shifts

  • Shift patterns include 12 hour shifts from 8pm to 8am
