We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in York, YO26. As a Waking Nights Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to individuals with complex needs, including those with behaviors of concern and epilepsy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as finances, shopping, cleaning, cooking, and personal care.
- Support individuals with behaviors of concern and epilepsy, using de-escalation techniques and crisis management strategies.
- Work independently on a 1-1 basis, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to address individual needs.
- Collaborate with the support team to ensure a seamless and effective support service.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a support worker role, although full training will be provided.
- Enhanced DBS clearance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including night shifts.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of £11.44.

- Shift patterns: 8pm to 8am (12 hours shifts).
