About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Waking Night Support Worker to join our team at Mencap. As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals, including assistance with toileting and bathing.
  • Conduct regular checks and ensure the safety of the individuals and the home.
  • Perform light household tasks, such as ironing and cleaning, while the individuals sleep.
  • Prepare individuals for the day ahead and ensure their home is clean and tidy.
  • Support individuals to be safe overnight and meet their health needs.
