Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Senior Laboratory Sales Professional to join our team on a permanent basis, covering the Sheffield, Stockport, HD/HX post code regions. Your primary focus will be on growing and retaining existing relationships with customers across various industries.
You will oversee a portfolio of customers, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to generate sales within your accounts. Effective collaboration and coordination with product specialists will be essential to meet sales targets.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers to provide exceptional support and service.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to hit targets.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of HE, Biotech & Pharma sectors, selling laboratory consumables, chemicals, and equipment. You will also contribute to territory performance by approaching new and prospective customers, either through appointments or cold calling.
Requirements and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must live within a 40-mile radius of Manchester. We require:
- A motivated and proactive approach to work, driving business growth and generating sales with new and existing customers.
- Previous experience in account management or business development.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
- The ability to manage and prioritize your workload effectively.
- A full UK driving licence, as you will be traveling around the region daily.
