Supportive Learning Facilitator

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs at Newcastle Perms (296).
Job Description:This role requires a patient and empathetic approach, as you will be working with students who may have had negative experiences with education in the past.
- Providing tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring individual learning requirements are met.
- Delivering SEN interventions for students with EHCPs, focusing on areas like language difficulties and other learning barriers.
- Offering encouragement and feedback to boost students' confidence and motivation in academic and vocational subjects.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths.
- Experience working with SEN students, including those with EHCPs and complex learning needs.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding, SEN support, and health and safety requirements in an educational environment.
The estimated salary for this position is approximately £22,702.56 pro-rata (£25,403 FTE), based on industry standards and location.
