Job Title: Payroll Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic Corporate Payroll department. As a key member of our Finance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of payroll for our Europe and Asia employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Europe and Asia payroll every pay period, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Maintain payroll processing systems and records, capturing, calculating, and inputting data with precision.
  • Adhere to payroll procedures and align with relevant country laws, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk.
  • Take ownership of year-end payroll processes, including P45's and P60's in the UK, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Process starters, leavers, contract changes, and update payroll records accordingly, maintaining up-to-date information.
  • Generate monthly, year-end, and ad hoc reports, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Respond to payroll queries in a professional and efficient manner, providing timely and accurate support.
  • Collaborate with the wider Finance department to ensure monthly reconciliations are undertaken, aligning with approved processes and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience with ADP Streamline, with a proven track record of successful payroll processing.
  • Previous experience of processing monthly payrolls in Europe and Asia, with a deep understanding of local laws and regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment, establishing strong relationships with HR, Legal, and other business partners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficient in the use of SAP, with experience in payroll processing and management.
  • Heavy background in a similar payroll role, performing all payroll functions for a publicly traded multinational corporation.
  • Demonstrable leadership experience in a coaching/supervisory or project-lead capacity, with a proven track record of success.
  • Flexible problem solver, willing to take on any task and lead a wide range of ongoing projects assigned.
  • Quick learner, able to seek guidance and approval for plans, with a strong interpersonal skills and ability to work under pressure.
