About the Role:

The Payroll Executive will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of payroll processing for employees in the UK and internationally. This involves managing the in-house UK payroll for approximately 150 employees and collaborating with international outsourced payroll providers to ensure timely and compliant payroll processing across various regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee payroll processing from start to finish
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports
  • Manage pension schemes
  • Address employee queries
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams
  • Assist with year-end returns
  • Produce ad hoc reports
  • Stay updated on payroll legislation changes to maintain compliance

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned Payroll professional with a proven track record in managing UK payroll processes and coordinating international payrolls. Proficiency in payroll software systems, particularly Sage, and a strong understanding of UK payroll legislation, including PAYE, NI, and HMRC requirements, are essential.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity
  • Skilled in problem-solving and able to investigate and resolve payroll issues efficiently
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure environments
  • Advanced Excel skills for compiling reports and reconciling data
