Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Support Specialist to join our team at Leeds Bread Co-op.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting vulnerable children and families in a school setting. The successful candidate will have experience working with children in a school environment, be enthusiastic about making a difference in education and lives, and possess excellent communication skills.

The salary for this position is estimated to be £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role:
  • Support children and families across the school setting, particularly those who are most vulnerable.
  • Work collaboratively with the safeguarding team to ensure the well-being of all children.
  • Monitor attendance and produce reports to inform targeted interventions.
Requirements:
  • Practising Catholic or willing to support the Catholic ethos of the school.
  • Experience of working with a safeguarding team.
  • Enhanced DBS and DBA check required.
  • At least two professional references.
