Dining Operations Coordinator

Location: Cambridge, England

Estimated Salary: £25,875 - £32,625 per year

We are looking for an innovative and organized Caterer to oversee the dining operations at our Cambridge office. This role involves managing food preparation, maintaining a clean environment, and adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing breakfast, lunch, and buffet meals, as well as managing inventory and ordering supplies. They must also maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness and ensure compliance with health codes and regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute meal preparation for breakfast, lunch, and buffets
  • Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and arranging external catering services when necessary
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
  • Develop menus and create daily specials
  • Manage food costing and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Requirements:
  • Holding a qualification in food hygiene
  • Class C1 driving license (desired)
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
  • Understanding of menu development and recipe techniques
  • Ongoing awareness of culinary trends and dietary requirements
  • Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience
