Job Title: Recovery & Wellbeing Practitioner

Location: HMP Brixton, London

Salary: £21,749 per annum

As a Recovery & Wellbeing Practitioner, you will work closely with service users, providing guidance and support to help them address their substance misuse and reintegrate into the community. You will be part of a dynamic team, working towards a common goal of reducing crime and promoting recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support service users in addressing their substance misuse and developing strategies for recovery
  2. Work collaboratively with the release and transfer team to ensure a smooth transition for service users
  3. Provide guidance and support to help service users reintegrate into the community
  4. Develop and maintain professional relationships with service users, colleagues, and external partners
  5. Contribute to the development and implementation of recovery plans and strategies
