Key Responsibilities- Assist teachers in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN.
- Provide tailored educational support to students in a classroom setting, addressing their learning, emotional, and physical needs.
- Work one-on-one or in small groups with children, helping them engage with and understand the curriculum.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging social skills and behavior management.
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to monitor and report on student progress.
- No formal experience or qualification is required, but previous experience working with children, preferably in a special needs or primary school setting, is desirable.
- A genuine passion for working with children with SEN and strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with students are crucial for success in this role.
